We are taking a family trip to Orlando, FL in mid-March. It will be my mother, my 19 yr old brother, my husband, myself and my almost 22 month old daughter. We hope to have my older cousin and her 4 year old son come up a day or 2 from Ft. Lauderdale where they live. We will have 2 different units at a timeshare. Since we go to Orlando almost every year, I’m not trying to make a lot of plans for our daughter. I definitely want to do Islands of Adventure for the SeussLand and the Magic Kingdom. My husband and I have to do Epcot so he can do Mission Space and MGM for the Tower of Terror. The 2 year old will probably stay with my mom at the pool for those trips. Does anybody have an experience with their toddler that turned out to be the toddler’s favorite? In those areas or others?

I understand that these are rental townhouses/condos/homes that other people own. But will we be required to attend one of those timeshare presentations if we choose to stay there??

So far I haven’t read anything about timeshares, so it seems like a nice place - but I was just wondering if anyone knew otherwise.

My grandmother has a timeshare that we will be using, so we know where we will be staying, but the question I do have is where to go. We are going to stay for one week. I know there are a ton of attractions, I have gone when I was much younger. But between the Universal parks and Disney parks, as well as other things, it is hard to decide where to go. I have lived in Orlando since 2002, and I am having trouble making long lasting friendships here in Orlando. I work for a timeshare company, own my own house, am in a stable commited relationship, and over the years I have lived here I have made a few long lasting friendships, but all my old friends moved to a different part of florida!!!! I have attempted to make friends in other ways too, like at work, social scenes, in line at planet smoothie, and from my experiences it seems like the people I have met were trying to take advantage of me, or they just plain out lied about being my friend in the first place and they never call me again. What should I do? I am a nice, fun loving, animal lover who is a loyal and devoted friend…. I just can’t seem to find anyone to be a loyal and devoted friend to…. HHHHEEEEELLLPPPP!!!
